blackberry-scan-ex With the recent RIM BlackBerry Messenger 5.0 launch, BlackBerrys will have a native built-in SPARQCode scanner.  One of the most popular uses for this scanner is to exchange BlackBerry PIN Contact information.  The SPARQCode generator Maestro has been enhanced to support this functionality so BlackBerry users can now create a PIN SPARQCode and add them to their business cards, websites, or any other media.  BlackBerry SPARQCodes can be created under the MeCARD tab in Maestro.

SPARQLogo SPARQCode™ is a 2d barcode standard that is an extension of the world’s largest known as QR Code with a user base of over 150+ million mobile phones. The SPARQCode standard is compatible with most mobile 2d barcode scanners available. We do the heavy lifting for you so you can focus on what matters.

Traditional 2d barcode solutions are difficult to setup and require a lot of infrastructure. We aspire to make everything simple and easy while offering the most advanced services including barcode generation, payments, web integration, analytics, trivia, contests, and much more.

Mobile camera phones in the US are finally reaching the tipping point where they are able to scan 2d barcodes. iPhone, Windows Mobile, Google Android, and Symbian platforms all have great scanning software available and the list grows each day.

Stay tuned for some really amazing things coming soon with SPARQCodes!
